Get ready, steady, pedal for your chance to race like the professionals!
Cheered on by the watching crowds, 15 teams comprising of four cyclists will have the opportunity to race against the clock around the professional Tour Series circuit.
The team with the fastest lap time will be crowned with the illustrious title of Team Race 2013 winners!
Previously called the business race, entries to this year's Team Race is open to:

groups of colleagues and friends
-
cycle groups (amateurs only please!)

any other self-formed group of wannabe cyclists.
Setting off in teams of four riders, each will complete three timed laps of the 1.5km professional circuit. The overall team time will be the average of each rider's lap times.
Rules of entry
Places for the Team Race are highly popular and for safety reasons are limited to 15 teams of four riders. Places will be allocated on a first come, first paid basis. The rules of entry are as follows.

Applications can only be accepted via the online form here.

Teams will be required to pay a £40 administration fee to enter the race.

Payments must be made by Friday 7 June and are payable via cash, cheque or credit card.

For safety reasons, riders taking part on bikes which are not road or hybrid bikes will start the race at the back of the start/finish line group.

All entrants must wear a safety helmet.
