Navigating Woking by bike has never been easier thanks to the rebranded Cycle Network. As Cycle Woking improves the existing network and increases cycle links across the Borough, the new routes are being rebranded as The Planet Trails.
Paul Fishwick, Cycle Woking Programme Manager, explains: "We decided on The Planet Trails in recognition of Woking's links with H. G. Wells and the War of the Worlds. Each route has been named after a planet or moon and the signs indicate how long it will take you to cycle along it in minutes, showing just how easy it is to get around the Borough by bike."
The Saturn Trail is a popular route along the Basingstoke Canal, which has links from Brookwood Station along the Canal to West Byfleet and on to New Haw.
The Mars Trail links Chertsey and St Peters Hospital through the centre of Woking to Old Woking and on to Guildford.
