Join us for an easy-going route starting from St Johns Lye. Riding mostly on bike paths we'll pass alongside the canal before stopping for a breather at the former Fishwick Island and then retracing our route. This is a flat, well-surfaced route and ideal for families or anyone who wants to boost their confidence on a bike.

  • Helmets must be worn by all under 18's regardless of ride level.

  • Please bring equipment with you to repair punctures, Ride Leaders are there to help but are not responsible for your bike.

  • All rides leave at the time stated you must arrive early Ride Leaders will not wait.

Sky Ride Local started in Woking in August 2012 and is led by British Cycling Ride Leaders. These guided rides are free and take place at locations across the county to encourage cyclists of all ages and abilities to get on their bike and have fun!

There are five different levels starting with 3- to 5-mile easy rides on traffic-free paths through to 50-mile rides for more experienced cyclists looking to explore Surrey's amazing countryside.
